Ways Your Business Can Thrive as a Member of the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce:
We’ve revamped our look and website to focus more on your business! Chamber members are listed under “Local Business” at the top of all pages with listings by services offered. This page can also be accessed under “Quick Links” under “Chamber Members” and at the bottom of every page. If you click on the “Chamber Information” link under “Quick Links” you’ll find an alphabetical listing at the bottom of the page.
Does your business have a website? If so, let us know and we will feature your website address on your business listing on the Chamber’s website. If you don’t have a website, we can create a one page site for you for a $35 annual fee (design and hosting included - your domain name will be: www.jacksonohio.org/yourbusinessname. For more information about a one page website hosted on our website, click here. You can even fill out all of the necessary information through an online form.
Want some inexpensive advertising? As a Chamber member, you can advertise on our website. An advertising block with link to your website is available for $5.00 per month for Chamber members only. For more information about advertising on our website, click here.
2. Social Media
The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce is now on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Have your business follow us on Facebook and Twitter and we’ll follow you back. Chamber members will get random posts retweeted on Twitter and reposted on Facebook. Have something special to announce? Send us a message to let us know and we’ll help you promote it through social media! Search for the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce on LinkedIn and join the Group Page to discuss topics with other members. Follow the Company Page for new updates that are occurring at the Chamber.
3. New - Email Blast or Newsletter Advertising
Want to reach every member of the Chamber and many of their employees with a message all your own? Send us your message as a Word, PDF or JPEG file (no larger than 8.5-by-11 inches) and we’ll email it to the more than 300 members and employees on our email distribution list. Rate: $35. If you want us to design it, there is an additional cost of $30.

4. Chamber Mailing Labels
When you want to get your message directly to all Chamber members or just a select few, use a printed set of labels we supply for $10. Please contact the Chamber office for details on how to receive your mailing labels.
5. Brochure and Business Card Display at the Chamber Office
Space is available for your materials in the Chamber office. The racks will hold trifolds, flyers and business cards. You’re responsible for keeping your slot filled. This service is free to Chamber members.
6. Annual Appreciation Banquet
Attendance is approximately 300 for this fall event in which members celebrate the Chamber’s successes from the previous year. Donate promotional items to be included in our gift packets or donate a door prize. Let us know at least two weeks ahead of the event to secure your spot. Attend and network with other Chamber members.
7. Attend a Business After Hours
Did you attend our last Business After Hours? If not, you missed a great time! Hosting or sponsoring one of these mixers can do wonders for the image of your business. You provide the food and refreshments (from other chamber members, of course) and you decide if you’d like to hand out door prizes, coupons or any other promotional items. If your place isn’t large enough or you want to share the cost of an event, the chamber will try to find a partner or two.
8. Exhibit in our Spring Business Showcase
The event is normally held in late March or early April, with the date and location to be announced by January each year. The Spring Business Showcase has grown to include over 60 business exhibitors for the weekend show and between 1,300 and 1,700 patrons in attendance, including those visiting the event as well as those who work at the event. Consider renting a booth space for your business. Booth space is limited to Chamber members only. Exhibitors receive free and discounted admission!
The investment to belong to the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce varies by the size of the company or business. For a vast majority of members, dues are based on your number of full-time employees (two part-time employees count toward one fill-time employee). Dues are payable on an annual basis. The dues schedule is subject to change by a vote of the Board of Directors.
